Coahoma Community College Athletics Hall of Fame
Wille Council is a retired Chicago Public School Teacher (31 years). He currently works in Chicago as a guest teacher at Chicago International Charter Schools. Council graduated from Broad Street High School in Shelby during his junior year in 1973. While at Broad Street, he excelled in Baseball, Football, and was a member of the school’s first band.
In the fall of 1973, he enrolled at Coahoma Community college and excelled in Baseball for two successful years. While at Alcorn State University, during his junior year, a knee injury ended his baseball career.
