Coahoma Community College

S.A.F.E. Center

The Student Activity and Family Enhancement Center was officially unveiled on March 9, 2022. The $1.4M facility contains 10,000 square feet, offices, an athletic training room, weights, and a large area of turf for a variety of purposes. The S.A.F.E. Center faces James E. Miller Stadium, which is CCC’s football field.

“Five or more years ago, we started talking about getting the weight room out of the HVAC area,” CCC President Dr. Valmadge Towner said at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. “We just talked about doing a metal building. It kept blossoming and blossoming into what you see right here. Coahoma is getting better, and it’s going to continue to get better with your help; with a great board as well as great faculty.”
