CLARKSDALE, Miss. - Coahoma Community College Athletics has announced its 2026 football schedule in Clarksdale, Miss., showcasing a 10-game gridiron campaign bolstered by a strong, highly anticipated signing class.
The schedule features five home games and five road contests against competitive Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference opponents. Entering his second year at the helm, head coach Larry Williams is focused on blending the new talent with returning veterans to establish a culture defined by hard work, discipline, and unity.
"We have a demanding schedule ahead of us, but our staff has infused this program with a strong signing class that has been putting in the work all offseason," said Williams. "Entering my second year, the foundation of this program is stronger. We are taking a 'built by brotherhood' approach to every game, and we are ready to compete at a high level."
The Tigers open the 2026 campaign on the road against Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College on Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. Coahoma will host its home opener a week later against Jones College on Sept. 3 at 6:30 p.m. at James E. Miller Stadium.
A major focal point of the season is the annual Homecoming game, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. against Northeast Mississippi Community College.
Other home matchups include games against Itawamba Community College on Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m., East Mississippi Community College on Oct. 8 at 6:30 p.m., and the regular-season finale against Copiah-Lincoln Community College on Oct. 29 at 6:30 p.m.
The team will travel for away games at East Central Community College on Sept. 10 at 6:30 p.m., Holmes Community College on Sept. 17 at 6:30 p.m., Northwest Mississippi Community College on Oct. 1 at 7 p.m., and Mississippi Delta Community College on Oct. 15 at 7 p.m.
