Coahoma Community College Welcomes Kedric Collier as New Linebackers Coach

Coahoma Community College is proud to announce the hiring of Kedric Collier as the new Linebackers Coach for the Tigers football program. A Mississippi native with deep roots in the state's football community, Collier brings a wealth of playing experience and a passion for developing student-athletes.

Born and raised in Pontotoc, Mississippi, Collier was a standout defensive lineman at South Pontotoc High School, where he graduated in 2014. During his high school career, he earned All 1-3A Defensive Team honors, showcasing his dominance on the field. He continued his football journey at Mississippi Delta Community College (2014-2015) before moving on to play at the Division I level with Mississippi State University. Since ending his playing career, Collier has coached footballl at both Winona and Okolona High School.

Collier now transitions into his coaching role at Coahoma with a commitment to mentoring and shaping the next generation of defensive playmakers. His firsthand experience competing at both the JUCO and SEC levels provides him with a unique perspective that will be invaluable to the Tigers' linebacking corps. Off the field, Collier is a proud father to his daughter, E'mari Collier, and remains dedicated to instilling the same values of discipline, hard work, and perseverance that have defined his own football career.

As Coahoma Community College continues building a competitive and disciplined football program under new leadership of Coach Larry Williams, the addition of Coach Collier strengthens the Tigers' defensive staff. His leadership and experience are expected to make an immediate impact as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
