Larry Williams enters his second season as the head football coach at Coahoma Community College, having quickly established a program defined by discipline, accountability, and player development. Appointed in 2025, Williams guided the Tigers through his first season while laying the foundation for future success.
 
Before Coahoma
Before arriving in Clarksdale, Williams served as the head football coach at Hinds Community College, where he compiled a 33-19 record. Under his leadership, the Eagles secured multiple NJCAA national rankings, including a No. 8 finish in 2019, reached the 2021 MACCC Football Championship game, and played in the Graphic Edge Bowl. Throughout his coaching career, Williams has helped develop numerous student-athletes who earned all-state and all-region recognition while advancing to four-year programs.
 
Playing Career
Prior to his coaching career, Williams was a standout defensive end at Mississippi State University. He led the Bulldogs in sacks during the 1994 and 1995 seasons and earned the Peach Bowl Most Valuable Defensive Player award. He later played professionally for the NFL's Baltimore Ravens and the Scottish Claymores of NFL Europe.

A native of Starkville, Mississippi, Williams emphasizes continuous growth while preparing student-athletes for success in the classroom, on the field, and beyond graduation.
