Coahoma Community College's baseball program continues to strengthen under the leadership of head coach Austin Biggs, who has recently announced the addition of Carson Turner to the coaching staff as pitching coach.
Originally from Clinton, Mississippi, Turner brings a wealth of experience to Coahoma. He spent two impactful years at Meridian Community College before completing his collegiate career at Mississippi College. Turner's dedication to his craft extended beyond his playing days; he honed his coaching skills at Tread Athletics in Pineville, North Carolina, where he developed a profound understanding of pitching mechanics and performance enhancement.
Prior to joining Coahoma, Turner further expanded his coaching repertoire through an internship at Peak Velocity Performance in Flowood, Mississippi. There, he immersed himself in the latest training methodologies and techniques, preparing athletes to excel at higher levels of competition.
Coach Biggs expressed enthusiasm about Turner's arrival, highlighting his strong coaching acumen and passion for player development. Turner's addition underscores Coahoma's commitment to fostering a competitive and supportive environment for student-athletes, ensuring they have the resources and mentorship necessary to succeed both on and off the field.
