The CCC baseball team hosted Hinds in a doubleheader on Saturday, March 18. The Tigers fell in both matchups.
In the bottom of the seventh inning, Coahoma scored five runs. The five-run side included a grand slam homer by 
Kaden Wilson. The freshman registered three hits, and scored two runs in the contest.
The Tigers tallied eight hits in the opening game, but Hinds won the matchup 12-7 in nine innings. In the second game, Hinds scored 15 runs in the top of the third inning en route to a 22-2 victory in seven innings.
CCC is now 3-19 (0-6 MACCC) this season; Hinds is 16-9 (4-2 MACCC).
Coahoma plays at Itawamba on Tuesday, March 21, in a two-game series scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m.
