Box Score 2 The CCC baseball team played at No. 3 Pearl River in a doubleheader on Saturday, March 26.
In the opening game, the Tigers trailed 2-0 after three innings. Coahoma's 
Erick Lopez hit a home run in the first at bat of the fourth inning, which made the score 2-1 in favor of PRCC.
The Wildcats responded by scoring four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. CCC was held scoreless throughout the remainder of the matchup, while Pearl River tallied five additional runs. PRCC won the game 11-1 in six innings.
After a scoreless top of the first inning for CCC in the second matchup; Pearl River tallied 10 runs in the bottom of the inning. PRCC recorded one run in the second inning and four runs in the third inning.
CCC's 
Bryland Skinner and 
Zales Lewis each hit a two-run home run in the top of the fifth inning, but the Wildcats won the matchup 15-4 in five innings.
Coahoma is now 6-12 (1-7 MACCC) this season; No. 3 Pearl River is 19-5 (7-1 MACCC).
The Tigers' next two-game series is schedule to be at Mississippi Delta on Tuesday, March 29.
