In the opening matchup, Coahoma recorded the game's first run when Bryland Skinner scored off an RBI single by Anyelo Sanchez. CCC trailed 2-1 going into the second inning.

Each team scored one run in the second inning and two runs in the third inning. The Tigers were outscored 9-1 throughout the remainder of the matchup as Co-Lin won 14-5.

In the second game, CCC trailed 3-0 at the end of the opening inning. In the second inning, an RBI single by Skinner allowed Anthony Newson to score. After a single by Zales Lewis, Skinner scored off an RBI single by Erick Lopez. Coahoma trailed 3-2 in the middle of the second inning.

The Tigers went on to score one additional run in the matchup as Copiah-Lincoln won the second game 11-3.

Coahoma is now 2-6 (0-2 MACCC) this season; the Co-Lin Wolves are 7-10 (2-0 MACCC).

CCC is scheduled to host Holmes on Tuesday, March 15, in its upcoming doubleheader. The opening matchup of that series is scheduled to start at 12:00 p.m.
