Last week, Miller had to serve a one game suspension. He was called for two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties and was ejected against Itawamba. Assistant Coach
Cedric Shell took over the head coaching duties against East Mississippi. Miller commends his coaches for stepping up for him when times were tough.
"It was tough for the coaches to lead without me," said Miller. "They did a great job getting the players through the game. We have a great coaching staff and team was in good hands."
The Tigers would love end their home losing streak on Homecoming. They must not take the Trojans lightly but focus on finishing the 2017 season strong.
