Box Score

CLARKSDALE, Miss. — The Coahoma Community College men's basketball team opened its home schedule on Tuesday, Nov. 3, falling to Northwest Mississippi Community College 91-71.

The setback snapped a four-game winning streak for the Tigers in their head-to-head series against the Rangers, a dominant run that dated back to November 2024. Despite the loss, Coahoma showcased strong individual performances, led by an explosive scoring output from guard Jayce Tillman.

Tillman poured in 27 points, heavily relying on his ability to draw contact and get to the free-throw line, where he shot 73.3 percent (11-of-15). He also connected on 50 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc and contributed defensively with a team-high three steals and a block.

Guard Rodarious Donley provided a dynamic presence in the backcourt, tallying 17 points and leading the team with four assists. Donley connected on a pair of three-pointers and secured three rebounds alongside two steals. Forward Bryan Jean was highly efficient from the floor, contributing eight points on 60 percent shooting.

As a unit, Coahoma shot 44 percent from the field and 38.9 percent from three-point range. Defensively, the Tigers forced Northwest Mississippi into pressure situations, compiling seven steals and four blocks. Forward Nigel Adamson anchored the interior defense, pulling down a team-high six rebounds and rejecting two shots while shooting an efficient 66.7 percent from the floor.

The Tigers will return to action at The Pinnacle on Monday, Nov. 9, hosting SEARK CC for Boys Youth Sport Night. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
