The Coahoma Community College Athletics Program is proud to celebrate the success of two former Tigers, Tymon Wells and Almetris Smith Jr., as they prepare to take the field in the Cricket Celebration Bowl.
Tymon Wells, a Junior Defensive Lineman from Hollandale, MS, has been a standout this season, contributing 13 total tackles, including two for a loss and one sack. His relentless energy and strength on the defensive line have been a key part of his team's success this year.
Almetris Smith Jr., a Redshirt Junior Offensive Lineman from Clarksdale, MS, anchors the #1 ranked offense in HBCU football. A former Coahoma Tiger from 2021-2022, Smith has been a critical piece of the offensive line, providing leadership and consistency for the high-powered offense.
We are incredibly proud of Tymon and Almetris, whose dedication and hard work have taken them to the biggest stage in HBCU football. Coahoma will be cheering them on as they represent and their communities with pride.
Be sure to tune in on December 14 at 11:00 AM Central Time on ESPN to watch the Jackson State Tigers battle South Carolina State. Let's go, Tymon and Almetris!
