The CCC football team will face No. 3 Northwest Mississippi on Thursday, Oct. 13, at James E. Miller Stadium.

Coahoma is 3-3 (1-2 North) this season. The Tigers began the season by defeating East Central (52-28), Southwest Mississippi (28-15), and Mississippi Delta (47-10). CCC was ranked at No. 15 in the country entering its fourth game of the season.

Following the 3-0 start; CCC has fallen short against Holmes (28-21 OT), Copiah-Lincoln (35-10), and No. 9 East Mississippi (24-16).

As for NWCC, the Rangers have defeated Mississippi Gulf Coast (28-24), No. 14 Hinds (31-28), No. 14 Pearl River (21-14), Itawamba (49-10), No. 8 East Mississippi (38-21), Mississippi Delta (47-7).

Coahoma head coach Travis Macon is a former assistant coach at NWCC.
