Box Score Thursday night's game at East Central Community College was the regular season finale for the Coahoma Community College football team. CCC was absolutely dominant in the opening half, but East Central's second half propelled the Warriors to the 30-18 victory.
Coahoma took a 6-0 lead when running back
Jakobi Jackson scored on a 19-yard touchdown run, which capped a 10-play, 54-yard drive with 11:40 remaining in the second quarter.

Kennique Bonner-Steward connected with tight end
Trayvon Moore on a five-yard TD pass with 4:37 to play in the opening half. After two quarters of play, the score was 12-0 in favor of the Tigers.
In the first half, East Central had; six total yards of offense; -19 rushing yards off 12 attempts with the longest run going for three yards; a total of 25 passing yards off three completions and ten attempts; and no third or fourth down conversions on seven total attempts.
As for CCC, the Tigers had 136 rushing yards off 25 carries to go along with 77 passing yards on 9-of-18 passing in the opening half. Coahoma possessed the football for nearly two-thirds of the first half.
The Warriors' second half surge started when a deflected pass led to a 38-yard interception return for a touchdown by defensive back Ke'Sean Johnson. Going into the fourth quarter, ECCC led 20-12.
The Tigers responded with a six-yard touchdown run by Jackson, which was his second TD of the night. CCC's two-point conversion attempt was unsuccessful. With 10:56 to play in the fourth quarter, East Central held a 20-18 lead.
ECCC scored 10 points in the final five minutes of the game, which led to a 30-18 win for the Warriors. East Central is now 3-6 (2-4 South) this season.
Coahoma finished the game with significant advantages in several statistical categories, but it was ECCC that got the victory.
