CCC softball faced off against Southwest Tennessee Community College in a doubleheader on Monday.

In the first game, the Lady Tigers fought hard, but unfortunately, they ended up with a 16-3 loss. Mikayla Reyner and Kalyce Mitchell showed some serious skills, with Mikayla scoring a run and Kalyce adding two more to the board. Taylor Mitchell and Kailah Smith made their mark with some impressive runs batted in (RBIs).

In the second game, Kalyce Mitchell kept the momentum going with a hit, while Kailah Smith and Janya Walker rocked it with two hits each, making a total of five hits for the Lady Tigers. Leeann Huddleston showed her patience at the plate with a walk (BB). Despite the efforts, the game ended in a 12-0 loss.

Lady Tigers began MACCC conference play Friday against East Central in Decatur, MS. First pitch is slated for 1 PM.
