Coahoma Lady Tigers hosted the Hinds Lady Bulldogs yesterday in a conference match-up. The second inning would be crucial in the Lady Tigers' loss as they would give up six runs. The lady Tigers would claw back and make the score 7-3 in the second inning on a Miranda Castaneda home run out of left field. The Lady Tigers would also score two runs, and an error scored on one run. Castaneda provided pop in the middle of the lineup and led Coahoma CC Tigers with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Kailah Smith led Coahoma CC Tigers with three hits in three at-bats. While the score didn't reflect their hoped-for outcome, Coahoma CC Tigers used this game as a valuable learning experience.
