Coahoma extended its lead in the second quarter when freshman kicker Josh Eaves connected on a 39-yard field goal. The score was 10-0 CCC with 3:10 remaining in the second quarter.

The Wolves responded by scoring a touchdown with six seconds to play in the opening half. The Tigers led 10-7 at halftime. In the third quarter, Co-Lin scored 28 points en route to a 35-10 win.

The Tigers entered the game averaging 37.0 points per game on the season, which ranked third in the MACCC. Coahoma was also averaging 403.5 yards per game, which also ranked third in the conference. CCC's offense produced 382 yards against the Wolves, but Coahoma's five turnovers led to the Tigers falling well short of their scoring average.
