CCC falls short in matchup at NEMCC

Box Score Four players scored in double figures for Coahoma on Tuesday night at Northeast Mississippi, but CCC fell short 99-75. The Triple C outscored Northeast in the second half, but NEMCC's 58-point first half led to the Northeast victory.

Jaqai Murray and Kei Johnson each scored a team-leading 16 points for Coahoma. Murray had a double-double as he also tallied 10 rebounds to go along with six assists.

O'zhell Jackson was CCC's third-leading scorer with 14 points. Gregg Magee tallied 10 points, which included two 3-pointers in 13 minutes of playing time.

Amarion Hoggan scored nine points, while Ben Galmore, Korea McKay II, and Jo Perez also scored for Coahoma.

The CCC Tigers are now 12-11 (5-8 MACCC) this season; Northeast Mississippi is 16-9 (7-6 MACCC).

Coahoma hosts Pearl River on Thursday, Feb. 23, which is Sophomore Night for the Tigers.
