The Tigers fall against Holmes

Box Score The CCC men's basketball team hosted Holmes Community College on Thursday, Feb. 9, at the Pinnacle.

Coahoma's Kei Johnson recorded 10 points in the first half, while Korea McKay II and O'zhell Jackson each tallied six. At halftime, CCC held a double-digit lead 29-19.

Despite Coahoma's efforts; HCC outscored the Tigers by 12 points in the second half as Holmes won the game 58-56.

Johnson led CCC in scoring with 16 points. Jackson also scored in double figures as he tallied 13 points. McKay II, Ben Galmore, Jo Perez and Dontae Prescott also scored for Coahoma.

The are now 10-9 (3-6 MACCC) this season; Holmes is 12-8 (4-6 MACCC).

CCC's next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 11, as the Tigers will host Copiah-Lincoln. That matchup is slated to begin at 3:30 p.m.
