                    Box Score The Coahoma Community College men's basketball team hosted Southeast Missouri Prep on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022.
Coahoma scored 32 points in the opening half, but trailed by three at halftime. The Tigers scored an impressive 51 points in the second half, while holding SEMO Prep to just 27. The final score was 83-62 in favor of the Coahoma Tigers.
O'zhell Jackson, Jaqai Murray, Kei Johnson, and Dontae Prescott each scored in double figures for Coahoma. Jackson tallied 21; Murray 18; Johnson 12; and Prescott 10.
Coahoma guard Ben Galmore recorded eight points, which included two 3-pointers in the first half. Jo Perez and Kavan Wooten also scored for CCC.
Coahoma is now 6-2 (0-0 MACCC) this season. The Tigers will host Northeast Mississippi on Monday, Dec. 5, at 6:00 p.m.
