                    Box Score The CCC men's basketball team faced Lincoln Trail College on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022. The matchup marked Coahoma's final game in the Griffin Elite Classic, which took place in Erlanger, Kentucky.
Coahoma won two of its three games in the classic. CCC's opening win occurred against Miami Dade College as Coahoma won 97-90 in triple overtime.
Against LTC in today's matchup; the Tigers scored 20 points in the first half. O'Zhell Jackson accounted for 11 of those points. Coahoma trailed 29-20 at halftime.
In the second half, CCC's Ben Galmore tallied three of his four 3-pointers. Dontae Prescott and Kei Johnson each scored six points, while Jaqai Murray and Amarion Hoggan combined to score seven. Jackson led all scorers in the half with 15 points.
The score was tied 63-63 at the end of regulation. Hoggan, Prescott, and Murray each recorded two points for the Tigers in overtime, while Coahoma allowed just four points. Coahoma won the game 69-67 in OT. Jackson finished the game with 26 points, which led all scorers.
The Tigers 2-1 (0-0 MACCC) play at Northwest Mississippi 1-2 (0-0 MACCC) in Coahoma's next game, which is scheduled for Nov. 10, at 6:00 p.m.
