The CCC men's basketball team hosted Itawamba Community College on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at the Pinnacle.

Nine players scored for Coahoma in the first half, but CCC trailed 33-31 at halftime. The score remained close for most of the second half, but Itawamba went on to win the game 69-61.

O'zhell Jackson led Coahoma in scoring with 12 points, while Ben Galmore and Jaqai Murray each tallied nine. Galmore made three 3-pointers in the game.

Dontae Prescott and Jo Perez each recorded eight points. Kei Johnson scored seven. Korea McKay II, Gregg Magee, and Kavan Wooten combined to score eight points.

The Tigers are now 5-2 (0-0 MACCC) this season; Itawamba is now 7-1 (0-0 MACCC).

Coahoma's next game is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 1, against Southeast Missouri Prep. That matchup will be played at the Pinnacle, and is slated for 6:00 p.m.
