The CCC women's basketball team faces East Mississippi Community College tonight in Scooba, MS.

Today's game marks the second meeting of the season between Coahoma and EMCC. In the first matchup, CCC defeated the Lady Lions 65-50 at the Pinnacle.

Tiara Abron, Nakia Cheatham, Brayland Ferguson, and Elishia Wilson each recorded at least nine points for the Lady Tigers in that game. Coahoma guard Emmia Johnson tallied seven points to go along with five steals. CCC attempted a season-high 27 3-pointers in the matchup against EMCC.

As for East Mississippi, the Lady Lions were 16-of-44 on field goal attempts in the aforementioned game against Coahoma. EMCC was also 3-of-12 from 3-PT range, while going 15-of-22 from the free-throw line. The Lady Lions have won four of their past six games.

The CCC Lady Tigers are 11-5 (5-3 MACCC) this season; East Mississippi is 8-8 (5-3 MACCC).

Tonight's matchup is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m., and will stream live via EMCC.
