The CCC men's basketball team is scheduled to play against East Mississippi Community College today, Jan. 31, at 6:00 p.m. inside of the Pinnacle.

Coahoma enters tonight's game off an 88-77 victory at Copiah-Lincoln on Jan. 27. CCC's Quan Brown, Mook Harris, and Kei Johnson combined to record 64 points and 28 rebounds for the Tigers in that matchup. Gregg Magee tallied nine points, five rebounds, and eight assists for CCC.

As for the Tigers' opponent tonight, EMCC has lost two of its past three games. Prior to that, the Lions won nine straight matchups. Sophomore forward Jakorie Smith and freshman guard Blake Butler are each averaging more than 14.5 PPG this season for East Mississippi.

Coahoma is 5-11 (1-6 MACCC) this season; the Lions are 13-4 (6-2 MACCC).
