On Thursday, Jan. 27, the CCC men's basketball team will play at Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

Coahoma's most recent game was against Southwest Mississippi on Monday, Jan. 24, at the Pinnacle. The score was tied 66-66 with 48 seconds to go in the second half, but SMCC won the game 73-69.

In that matchup, CCC's Quan Brown led all players in points (27) and rebounds (15). Mook Harris tallied 25 points, while going 6-of-10 from 3-PT range for the Tigers. The six 3's made by Harris tied the team's season-high for the most 3-pointers made by a player in one game.

As for Coahoma's upcoming opponent, Copiah-Lincoln has lost its past two games. The Wolves' most recent win was at Mississippi Delta 86-59 on Tuesday, Jan. 18.

CLCC is averaging 78.5 points per game this season, which ranks fifth in the MACCC. Copiah-Lincoln is led in scoring by sophomore guard Lerenzo Fort III, who is averaging 27.1 PPG this season.

The Tigers are 4-11 (0-6 MACCC) this season; CLCC is 5-10 (2-5 MACCC). Thursday's matchup is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m., and will stream via Copiah-Lincoln.
