Box Score On Monday night, the CCC men's basketball team hosted Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College at the Pinnacle.
Gulf Coast began the game with an 11-3 run. Coahoma trimmed MGCCC's lead to as few as two points in the first half, but the Tigers trailed 38-30 at halftime.
CCC went on a 5-0 run to begin the second half, but the Bulldogs responded with a 9-2 run. The score became as close as 58-55, but Coahoma never led as Gulf Coast won the game 80-75.
Raeshun McGregory, Trey Logan,
Ben Galmore, and
Quan Brown each scored in double figures for the Tigers. Brown led CCC in scoring and rebounding with a 24-point, 11-rebound double-double.
Coahoma is now 4-9 (0-4 MACCC) this season; the Bulldogs are 11-4 (3-3 MACCC).
The Tigers' next game is scheduled to be on Thursday, Jan. 20, at Northwest Mississippi Community College.
