On Monday night, the CCC women's basketball team will play at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. The Lady Tigers are 9-3 (3-1 MACCC) this season; MGCCC is 11-2 (3-1 MACCC).
Coahoma is 4-2 in away games this season having defeated Mississippi Delta 67-59 in OT, Holmes 81-60, Northwest Mississippi 72-70, and East Central 68-63. CCC won its first four away games of the season before being defeated at Southern Arkansas University Tech 71-57 and at Itawamba 73-66.
That matchup against ICC is the Lady Tigers' most recent road game.

Tiara Abron, and
Elishia Wilson each scored in double figures for CCC at Itawamba, while
Nakia Cheatham recorded eight points and 14 rebounds.
As for Mississippi Gulf Coast, MGCCC enters Monday's matchup with a four-game winning streak. Gulf Coast is 5-1 in home games this season with the lone loss occurring against Jones College 74-70.
MGCCC is leading the conference in points scored per game with an average of 75.9, while allowing 56.8 PPG. Elsie Harris, Beverly Tillman, and Aniya Saddler are each averaging at least 10.5 points per game for Gulf Coast this season.
The matchup is scheduled for today, Jan. 17, at 6:00 p.m. The game will stream live via MGCCC.
