Box Score The CCC men's basketball team faced East Central Community College at the Pinnacle on Monday night.
Coahoma trailed ECCC 49-30 at halftime, but the Tigers rallied in the second half. With 51 seconds remaining in the game, the East Central lead had been trimmed to two points. Despite CCC's efforts, the East Central Warriors won the game 82-77.
Jo Perez,
Quan Brown, and
Mook Harris each scored at least 14 points for Coahoma. Harris was CCC's leading scorer; the sophomore guard scored 18 points, while going 4-of-7 from 3-PT range.
Harris,
Ben Galmore, and
Damon Haynes combined to make 10 of the Tigers' 13 3-pointers. Haynes was 3-of-3 from three-point range.
CCC forward
Kei Johnson recorded five points, 18 rebounds, nine assists, and three blocks.
The Tigers are now 4-5 (0-1 MACCC) this season; ECCC is 3-5 (1-1 MACCC).
