The Tigers fall short against Itawamba

Box Score On Thursday night, the CCC men's basketball team played at Itawamba Community College.

Coahoma scored 39 points in the opening half, but ICC held a two-point lead at halftime. Despite CCC's efforts, Itawamba outscored the Tigers by 15 points in the second half. The Indians picked up a 90-73 victory.

Mook Harris, Quan Brown, Ben Galmore, and Kei Johnson all scored in double figures for CCC. The four players combined to go 20-of-21 from the free-throw line.

Harris led the team in scoring with 19 points, while going 4-of-9 from 3-PT range.

Johnson recorded a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double to go along with four blocks, three assists, and two steals.

Coahoma is now 2-3; ICC is 5-1.

CCC's next game is on Monday, Nov. 22, at Jones College. The matchup is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m.
