Monday night features a doubleheader of CCC basketball at the Pinnacle. The CCC women's basketball team plays Northeast Mississippi Community College at 5:30 p.m., and the CCC men's basketball team is slated to face Faith Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m.

The Coahoma Lady Tigers are 3-0 on the season with a 65-50 victory over East Mississippi, a 67-59 overtime win at Mississippi Delta, and an 81-60 victory at Holmes.

CCC's Tiara Abron, Ashanti Backus, Brayland Ferguson, Nakia Cheatham, and Elishia Wilson are each averaging at least eight points per game. Cheatham and Wilson combine to average nearly nine offensive rebounds per game.

Coahoma's men's basketball team is 1-2 on the season with an 84-60 loss against Northwest Mississippi, a 74-51 win over Mississippi Delta, and a 54-51 loss to Hinds.

The Tigers' Quan Brown is averaging a team-leading 17.3 PPG to go along with 4.7 RPG this season. Forward Kei Johnson is averaging 7.7 PPG and an impressive 13.0 RPG.
