On Monday night, the CCC men's basketball team defeated Mississippi Delta 74-51 in an exciting fashion. Coahoma's highlight-packed second half featured 11 3-pointers, several dunks, and 52 points.

The Tigers' Quan Brown, Ben Galmore, Mook Harris, and Kei Johnson all scored in double figures as they combined to go 14-of-28 from 3-PT range.

Against the MS. Delta Trojans, Johnson recorded an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double. The freshman forward officially recorded a 10-point, 21-rebound double-double against Northwest Mississippi in CCC's season opener.

Coahoma's upcoming game is against Hinds Community College. HCC is 1-2 this season with a 77-74 loss against East Central, a 66-63 win at Delgado, and a 62-55 loss against Copiah-Lincoln.

Hinds has four players averaging over 8.5 points per game with guard Kyle Hayman and forward Jalen Myers combining to average nearly 34 points per game.

Tonight's game features Military Night and Black Out Night at the Pinnacle.
