Box Score On Thursday night, the CCC men's basketball team played Hinds Community College at the Pinnacle. The score was close throughout the game, and HCC won 54-51.
Coahoma's
Quan Brown recorded 20 points in the opening half, which included two 3-pointers. CCC guard
Ben Galmore connected on two 3's as well, and the Tigers held a 30-25 lead at halftime.
Hinds took the lead from CCC early in the second half, and despite Coahoma's efforts, the Bulldogs went on to win the game 54-51.
The Tigers had the final possession of the game, but CCC did not score.
Despite the relatively low-scoring game, Coahoma had eight players score. Brown finished the game with 24 points; Galmore tallied 10 points.
The Tigers are 1-2 this season; HCC is 2-2.
CCC's next game is on Monday, Nov. 15, against Faith Prep Academy at the Pinnacle.
