CLARKSDALE –The Coahoma Lady Tigers have played in some very competitive games lately. They still find themselves on the losing end. Head Coach
Danetra Forrest feels that her team knows how to win. Coahoma (2-6) is looking for their 3rd victory on the road against undefeated Copiah-Lincoln Community College.
Co-Lin (7-0) dominated Coahoma in their home opener 101-54 on Nov. 9, 2017. They shot 48 percent from the field, including eight 3 pointers. Brittany Rose led the Lady Wolves with 20 points, four rebounds, and two assists. T'Kyra Hicks scored 16 points and six assists. Alexandria Patton had 10 points and three rebounds.
Walneika Holmes scored 21 points and had four assists. Lameka President had 16 points and five rebounds. Geneva Walker scored 10 points and had three rebounds.
The Lady Wolves are coming off an 85-77 victory over Mississippi Delta Community College. Alexus Holt and Brittany Rose led Co-Lin with 18 points. Hicks scored 17 points.
Coahoma is coming off an 66-59 loss to Southwest Mississippi Community College. Nikkeria Harris had a big game with 25 points and nine rebounds. President scored nine points. Walker had eight points and six assists.
The game is set for this Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 at 8 p.m. in Wesson, MS.
It will be part of a double header that's followed by Coahoma vs Copiah-Lincoln men's game at 8 p.m.
