CCC softball drops series at East Central in season finale

The CCC softball team concluded the 2022 season with a doubleheader at East Central Community College on Friday, April 29.

The Coahoma Lady Tigers fell short in the opening matchup 20-3 in five innings. CCC's first run of the game was scored when Ashanti Stephens tallied a home run in the top of the fourth inning.

The second game was also won by ECCC as the Lady Warriors defeated Coahoma 14-0 in five innings.

CCC finishes the season 6-40 (0-28 MACCC) this season; East Central is now 27-19 (16-12 MACCC).
