The CCC women's basketball team plays at Jones College tonight. The matchup marks back-to-back away games for the Lady Tigers. Coahoma was scheduled to host Holmes on Feb. 3, but that game was postponed due to weather.

The Lady Tigers' Ashanti Backus scored 20 points, while going 4-of-5 from 3-PT range in Coahoma's 72-58 win at East Mississippi on Jan. 31. Tiara Abron, Elishia Wilson, and Nakia Cheatham combined to record 42 points for CCC in that matchup. The Lady Tigers were 8-of-12 on 3-point attempts, while being 27-of-60 from the floor.

Coahoma has won four of its past six games with three of those victories occurring by at least 14 points.

As for Jones, the Lady Bobcats have won seven of their past nine games. JC ranks towards the top of the MACCC in numerous stats, and is first in field goals made per game, free-throw percentage, assists per game, and blocks per game.

CCC is 12-5 (6-3 MACCC) this season; the Lady Bobcats are 14-4 (9-1 MACCC).
