Box Score The CCC women's basketball team hosted Mississippi Delta on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022. The Lady Tigers scored 28 points in the fourth quarter en route to a 64-52 win. The 28 points were scored off four 3-pointers, six two-point field goals, and four free throws.
Coahoma's Tiara Abron tallied 10 points in the final quarter, and led all scorers with 15 points in the game. Abron was 3-of-5 from 3-point range. Janiya Jones and Elishia Wilson also scored in double figures for the Lady Tigers as they each recorded 11 points.
CCC guard Tiana Abron accounted for eight points, four offensive rebounds, four defensive rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Coahoma was led in rebounding by Jamea Smith, who tallied 10.
Jamyia Bowen, Mackenzie Carter, and Sequoia Bouldin combined to score 19 points for CCC.
The Lady Tigers are now 3-2 (0-0 MACCC) this season; MDCC is 2-3 (0-0 MACCC).
Coahoma's next game is scheduled to be at East Central on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022. That matchup is slated to start at 6:00 p.m.
