The CCC women's basketball team will play against Copiah-Lincoln Community College tonight, Jan. 27, at 6:00 p.m. inside of the Pinnacle.
Coahoma has won three of its past four games. Those three victories occurred against Meridian 49-42, Mississippi Gulf Coast 70-50, and Northwest Mississippi 66-44 with the lone loss being to Southwest Mississippi 55-48.
Tonight's matchup is the Lady Tigers' first home game since the aforementioned 22-point victory over NWCC.
Elishia Wilson tallied 19 points and 13 rebounds in that matchup, while
Nakia Cheatham recorded eight points, 10 rebounds, and five assists.
As for CCC's upcoming opponent, Co-Lin won its most recent away game with a 69-64 victory against Northeast Mississippi. The Lady Wolves are led in scoring by sophomore guard Aniya Sanders, who is averaging 16.8 PPG this season.
The Lady Tigers are 11-4 (5-2 MACCC) this season; Copiah-Lincoln is 8-7 (2-4 MACCC). Tonight's game will stream live on
