The CCC women's basketball team opened the season with an impressive 65-50 home victory over East Mississippi. The Lady Tigers outscored EMCC in each quarter, and led by double-digits for the majority of the game.

Coahoma's Tiara Abron, Brayland Ferguson, Emmia Johnson, Nakia Cheatham, and Elishia Wilson all scored at least nine points in CCC's regular season debut against East Mississippi.

Today's game features the Lady Tigers at Mississippi Delta. The MDCC Lady Trojans lost their season opener 69-51 at Itawamba, but responded with a 10-point victory against Arkansas State Mid-South.

CCC has won four of its past five matchups against MS. Delta dating back to 2019.

The matchup is slated for Monday, Nov. 8, at 5:30 p.m. The game will broadcast live here.
