On Monday night, the CCC men's basketball team defeated Faith Prep Academy 92-49 at the Pinnacle.
Coahoma recorded a 14-0 run early in the first half to take a 22-4 lead with approximately 14:45 remaining in the opening half. The Tigers held a 33-9 lead at one point in the first half, and led 48-25 at halftime.
The Tigers scored 44 points in the second half. CCC tallied numerous dunks during the game; including several in the second half by
Raeshun McGregory. Coahoma went on to win the game 92-49.
McGregory,
Quan Brown,
Mook Harris, and
Ben Galmore each scored in double figures for CCC.
Brown recorded a 20-point, 11-rebound double-double to go along with five assists and three blocks for the Tigers.
Coahoma forward
Kei Johnson accounted for six points, 18 rebounds, three assists, and two blocks.
The next game for CCC is on Thursday, Nov. 18, at Itawamba Community College. The matchup is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m., and will be
