Softball Downed By Holmes In Goodman

Lady Bulldogs defeat Lady Tigers in Monday Matchup

GOODMAN—Softball dropped a pair to Holmes Monday, falling by finals of 16-1 and 17-0.

The Lady Bulldog attack was able to tag CCC starter Gabrielle Lee for 9 runs in Game 1. The Lady Tigers were able to get a late run on a double from Kadajah Babbitt that scored Vanessa Taylor. It was Taylor's 2nd run in the last 2 games and Babbitt's first RBI of the season.
 
The Lady Bulldogs once again got to Lee in Game 2, which lasted 2 1/2 innings. CCC got hits from Gwana Childs and Taylor in the contest.
 
The Lady Tigers continue their schedule with doubleheaders this week against Itawamba and Northwest, plus a rematch with Holmes Friday.
