Before Coahoma
Young joined the Tigers in 2025 after previously serving as the cornerbacks coach at Hinds Community College, where he was instrumental in developing the program's defensive secondary.
 
Playing Career
Before entering the coaching profession, Young enjoyed a successful professional playing career in the Canadian Football League. He established himself as a standout defensive back and was a member of a Grey Cup championship team.
