Greg Wallace is a highly respected educator, coach, and athletic leader with more than 22 years of experience in the fields of education and athletics. A native of Mississippi, Greg is deeply rooted in both academic excellence and sportsmanship. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University and went on to earn a master’s degree from Mississippi College, solidifying his foundation for a career devoted to student development, athletic performance, and leadership.
Throughout his career, Greg has worn many hats—serving as a coach, mentor, and administrator. He has coached football, baseball, and softball at various competitive levels, instilling discipline, teamwork, and a strong work ethic in each of his athletes. His leadership spans over 11 years as both an Athletic Director and Head Coach, during which he has built successful programs, guided championship-level teams, and developed student-athletes who have gone on to succeed both academically and athletically.
In addition to his school-based coaching roles, Greg has also been actively involved with the Fastpitch Performance Academy for the past five years, where he coaches across different age groups and skill levels. His work with FPA reflects his passion for growing the game of softball and providing athletes with the tools they need to perform at their highest potential.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Greg is a family-oriented individual who values faith, tradition, and quality time with loved ones. He has been happily married for 19 years to his wife, April, and together they have built a loving family that includes three daughters—Caitlin, Laney, and Lindsey—and one son, Tyler. Whether he's on the field or at home, Greg’s commitment to mentorship, leadership, and character development is unwavering.
Outside of work, Greg enjoys spending time in the outdoors. An avid hunter, he finds peace and renewal in nature and treasures moments spent with family. His life is a reflection of balance—between professional excellence and personal fulfillment.
