Eli Johnson enters his second season as the offensive coordinator at Coahoma Community College. Johnson brings an offensive philosophy focused on player development, innovation, and maximizing the strengths of his student-athletes.
 
Current Impact
Since joining the Tigers in 2025, Johnson has made an immediate impact on the offense. In his first season as a collegiate offensive coordinator, he helped develop a Freshman All-American and a finalist for the Jerry Rice Award, which is presented annually to the nation's top Football Championship Subdivision freshman.
 
Before Coahoma
Before arriving in Clarksdale, Johnson served on the coaching staff at New Mexico State University.
 
Playing Career & Personal
A native of Oxford, Mississippi, Johnson transitioned into coaching following his collegiate playing career at the University of Mississippi.
