Debreasha Powe joins the Coahoma Women's Basketball staff as an Assistant Coach, bringing elite playing experience, proven leadership, and a passion for developing student-athletes. A Meridian, Mississippi native, Powe established herself as one of the state's most accomplished players before enjoying a standout collegiate career at Mississippi State and Ole Miss. A former Mississippi Gatorade Player of the Year, Powe was widely regarded as one of
the top players in the state and led multiple programs to championship success during her high school career.

At the collegiate level, Powe earned SEC All-Freshman Team honors, served on the SEC Women's Basketball Leadership Council, and became one of the top three-point shooters in the Southeastern Conference. A four-year SEC starter and team captain, she built a reputation for leadership, consistency, and toughness while competing at the highest level of women's college basketball. Powe finished her career among Mississippi State's all-time leaders in three-point
field goals made and ranked among the SEC's most efficient perimeter shooters.

Prior to her collegiate career, Powe played for Head Coach Deneshia Faulkner, making herreturn to work alongside Coach Faulkner a full-circle moment. Having firsthand experience with the standards, accountability, and culture established by Coach Faulkner, Powe brings a unique understanding of the program's vision and expectations.

In addition to her success on the court, Powe's background in communications, sports media, and leadership development allows her to connect with student-athletes and contribute to the continued growth of Coahoma Women's Basketball. Her commitment to excellence, passion for mentorship, and winning mindset make her a valuable addition to the Tiger family.
