Shawn Goff

A four-year letter winner at The University of Mississippi, Shawn Goff enters her first season with Coahoma Community College as an assistant coach. The former Ole Miss standout finished her career as one of the best to wear a Lady Rebels uniform. 

The Tallahassee, FL native ranks 18th all-time at Ole Miss in scoring after pouring in 1,179 career points.  Goff finished her senior season eighth in the Southeastern Conference averaging 13.8 points per game — scoring in double-figures for 23 games.

Goff ended her career with 702 rebounds and is one of only ten players in Ole Miss history that scored more than 1,000 points and pulled down 700 boards. She paced the Rebels and ranked ninth in the SEC with 6.6 rebounds per game as a senior. 

Goff was also a force on the defensive end of the floor leading the Rebels in blocked shots in each of her four seasons in Oxford. As a junior, Goff set the Ole Miss single-season record with 67 rejections and is currently the all-time leader with 208. 
 
She was elected to attend the NCAA Leadership conference and names to Southeastern Conference All-Conference Team in 2008 and 2009. Other career accolades include:
  • Member of SAAC all 4 years during the collegiate career
  • Named SEC Volunteer of the Week for Women's Basketball in 2009
  • Reached the NCAA Elite Eight in 2007
  • Selected to participate in the NCAA Leadership Conference in 2007
  • Nominated for the Cellular South Gillom Award in 2008
Goff graduated from The University of Mississippi in 2009 and continued playing basketball professionally overseas (Sweden and Poland) where she helped lead both teams into postseason play. She also received an invitation to the Atlanta Dream’s training camp where she started two preseason games.
