Jaquay Walls enters his sixth season as the assistant coach for the Coahoma men's basketball team.
 
Before Coahoma
Walls brings approximately 15 years of combined coaching experience across the high school, AAU, and collegiate levels. Before arriving in Clarksdale, he spent multiple years as a coach at Mississippi Valley State University.
 
Playing Career
Walls played collegiately at Compton College and the University of Colorado. During his two seasons with Colorado, he recorded impressive statistics and earned first-team all-conference honors in his senior season. He was drafted in the second round of the 2000 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers. His playing career concluded after three years of professional basketball in France and Turkey.
