Coahoma opened the game with energy, keeping Pearl River's offense in check and trailing by just three points at the end of the first quarter, 13-10. Though the Lady Tigers faced challenges at the free-throw line and in transition, their balanced offensive contributions and defensive intensity kept the game within reach. Â
"We know what we need to improve, and I'm confident this team will respond," head coach Shanae Williams said. "We're focused on getting better every day." Â
