The Coahoma Community College Lady Tigers basketball team started their season with an emphatic 85-48 win over Champion Christian College on November 2 in Hot Springs, AR.

The Lady Tigers maintained control of the game from start to finish.
The Lady Tigers established an early lead, outscoring Champion Christian 26-6 in the first quarter and maintaining their intensity throughout the game.Â
Coahoma showcased their depth, with
Jamaica Young contributing 13 points and 10 rebounds, while
Keyauna Foote added 9 points off the bench.Â

Following this impressive season opener, the Lady Tigers' scheduled game against the Lady Magicians JV of LeMoyne-Owen College on November 4 was ruled a no contest due to unforeseen circumstances.
