The Coahoma Tigers claimed a hard-fought 66-63 victory in Senatobia, showcasing resilience and teamwork that thrilled fans and kept their undefeated streak alive. 

Led by standout performances from Jaidyn Rankins, RiCarvis Waters, and Louzavious Thomas, the Tigers brought intensity and skill to every play, holding off a final push to secure the win.

From the opening tip-off, Coahoma's energy was undeniable. Guard 

Jaidyn Rankins led the charge, sinking 15 points, including a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line, and hitting three 3-pointers that set the tone for a competitive game. 

Rankins' leadership and poise under pressure provided the stability Coahoma needed as they built an early lead.

RiCarvis Waters continued his remarkable season with 17 points, converting 3 of 6 from beyond the arc. His shooting accuracy and defensive agility created problems for the opposition, and his two steals contributed to Coahoma's strong defensive stance. 

Waters' playmaking and precision allowed the Tigers to maintain control during critical moments.

Forward Louzavious Thomas was an unstoppable force in the paint, grabbing a game-high 12 rebounds and scoring 10 points. His offensive rebounds allowed the Tigers multiple second-chance opportunities, keeping the momentum on Coahoma's side.

 His defensive hustle was equally impressive, as he worked tirelessly to block shots and secure the paint, ensuring no easy points for the opposition.

Alongside Thomas, Seck Zongo's hustle contributed 7 points, 5 rebounds, and crucial blocks. Zongo's ability to read the game and anticipate plays allowed Coahoma to fend off offensive threats, while his three assists added to Coahoma's balanced attack.

As the game drew to a close, the Tigers faced mounting pressure. Despite a narrow lead, the team remained composed. Rankins, Waters, and Thomas stepped up in the final minutes, with Rankins sinking clutch free throws to maintain Coahoma's edge. Defensive rebounds by Thomas and timely scoring by Waters kept the Tigers in the lead. 

When the final buzzer sounded, the Tigers emerged victorious, with a final score of 66-63, a testament to their collective resilience and determination to remain undefeated.

This win keeps Coahoma's unbeaten record intact, elevating their status as a rising force this season. 

The Tigers' will be back in action on November 18th as they go on the road to battle Southeast Arkansas College.
