Coahoma Lady Tigers Secure Thrilling Victory to Extend Undefeated Streak

In yet another display of heart, skill, and teamwork, the Coahoma Lady Tigers claimed their fourth consecutive win of the season, remaining undefeated with a thrilling 72-68 victory.

A stellar performance led by Cayla Myers, Cy'Nara Robinson, and Jamaica Young electrified the court, pushing the Tigers to a well-deserved triumph that showcased the spirit of the team.

The Lady Tigers pounced early, with Cayla Myers firing on all cylinders and establishing herself as an offensive powerhouse. Myers recorded an impressive 28 points, leading the charge with fierce mid-range shooting and remarkable hustle on both ends of the floor.

Alongside her, Cy'Nara Robinson brought strength and tenacity in the paint, locking down key rebounds and making tough baskets. She ultimately finished with 12 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.

The early lead was a testament to the Lady Tigers' preparedness and relentless energy. Coahoma's squad demonstrated flawless communication and agility from the first possession, allowing them to secure an early 22-14 lead by the end of the first quarter.

As the game intensified, the Lady Tigers showed their collective resilience. Jamaica Young was a force on both offense and defense, racking up 11 points and pulling down eight critical rebounds. Her court vision and movement under pressure bolstered Coahoma's strategy, keeping momentum in their favor.

Alongside her, guard Kamil Washum's contributions were crucial. She tallied five assists to amplify the Lady Tigers' offensive execution, and her court sense created seamless opportunities for scoring.

Cy'Nara Robinson's presence in the key kept the Lady Tigers steady, as she worked tirelessly to dominate on the boards and keep control during intense sequences. Her quick reactions and positioning led to several second-chance points that turned the tide in Coahoma's favor.

The final minutes showcased the Lady Tigers' grit and determination, as they defended their slim lead with everything they had. Myers, in particular, rose to the challenge, hitting timely shots and sinking vital free throws that kept Coahoma's lead intact.

Despite the high-stakes tension, Robinson and Young remained composed, fighting for every rebound and controlling possession until the final buzzer sounded, marking an incredible 72-68 victory.

This win extends the Lady Tigers' winning streak to 4-0, proving that this Coahoma team is built on hard work, unity, and a shared vision for success. The Lady Tigers look forward to building on their undefeated record as they prepare to battle ASU Mid-South on November 18th.
